The life span of a piece of string always varies and is determined by its users' intentions and wills. If the user decides to attach copious amounts of heavy object onto the delicate piece of string, its threads will unbind and burst within seconds. Some might say if the string is strong enough, it can hold up all its assigned objects, no matter how big or small. But at the end of the day, string is just a long sequence of twisted fibers made up by cotton threads.
